It is an imposing animal, black as coal. What is most impressive are its enormous horns curved over its forehead. It is best not to fight with it! Although most of the time it is very peaceful. It grazes quietly and enjoys the day in the African Savannah.
The mighty Cape buffalo raises its head attentively. It sniffs out with its black snout if strangers approach the herd. It is not yet clear whether it will continue to graze or has it discovered an adversary? When a strange buffalo approaches its herd, it does not take it lightly. It gallops with surprising speed towards the intruder, stops in front of it, lowers its huge head and snorts angrily. Its huge horns are impressive. Most of the time, intruders trot away at full speed. It is better this way!
